Getting Started with SwiftCloud

SwiftCloud is designed to be simple and powerful. This guide will walk you through the initial setup required to launch your first cloud resource.

1. Create an Account

We support passwordless authentication for maximum security. You can sign up using:

  • Google OAuth: One-click sign-in with your existing Google account.
  • Magic Link: Enter your email, and we'll send you a secure login link. No passwords to remember or lose.

2. Create a Project

Resources in SwiftCloud are organized into Projects. A project acts as a container for your Virtual Machines, Domains, and Billing.

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard.
  2. Click "New Project".
  3. Enter a name (e.g., "Production-App") and an optional description.

Each project has its own isolated billing account and team member list.

3. Add Funds (Prepaid)

SwiftCloud operates on a prepaid model. Before you can provision resources, your project must have a positive balance.

  • Go to the Billing tab in your project dashboard.
  • Click "Add Funds" or "Redeem Coupon".
  • Enter a valid coupon code or use a supported payment method (MTN, Airtel, Zamtel, Card).
Note: We bill hourly. If you add 100 ZMW, we will deduct small amounts every hour based on your active resources.

4. Deploy Your First VM

Once your project is funded, you are ready to launch! Navigate to the Virtual Machines tab and click "Create VM".
